Stickle Ghyll in Great Langdale is a magnificent site, viewable for miles. The journey down Stickle Ghyll starts at Stickle Tarn, just below Harrison Stickle (723m) one of the Langdale Pikes. Water from the tarn tumbles down the fell slopes creating multiple waterfalls. If you make the climb upto Harrison Stickle or beyond you will enjoy the company of Stickle Ghyll by your side all the way up to the tarn, occassionally crossimg it. The fell is a steep climb in some places but the path is well maintained and steady underfoot.
